Exhilarating hikes for every skill level with over 100 trailheads in the greater Sedona area to choose from. Travel Tip - Most require a Red Rock Pass for access. There are some great trails just across the Red Agave courtyard!

Red Rock Crossing is a serene blending of Oak Creek and Sedona’s most photographed “Cathedral Rock”, truly a spectacular setting with wandering trails lined with native vegetation and on occasion, Arizona wildlife. The Verde Canyon Railroad, just 30 minutes from the Red Agave Adventure Resort, is a four-hour sightseeing journey known as “Arizona’s Longest Running Nature Show”. Ride through a 600 foot man-made tunnel and see steep canyon walls, unusual rock formations, crimson cliffs and native flora and fauna. There’s food and entertainment and at the right time of year, a chance to see America’s Symbol, The Bald Eagle, flying overhead keeping a watchful eye on eaglets nesting on the cliff side high above the canyon floor.

Bell Rock, another iconic Sedona Red Rock formation is less than a mile from the Red Agave Adventure Resort and is a favorite among sightseers and hikers alike, from all over the world. Some say they find the Spirit of Sedona along the way on this one-hour hike and others find the expansive Sedona vista to be overwhelmingly beautiful and all the reason to visit Sedona time and time again. Hillside Shops, about halfway to Sedona on highway 179, is a boutique marketplace for art and specialty items, many from local artists and craftsmen. To answer the question, “where do the locals go for good Mexican food?”…Javelina Cantina in the lower level….best Mexican food in town…better Margaritas!!
